Howdy Y’all,

TMC is gaining ground with a total of 27 stations airing episodes as we release them. WBCC-TV PBS. The University of Central Florida has been our best supporter giving TMC three slots a week in Orlando, Florida. WBCC is home to the largest college campus in the Florida. Thanks Bill Dotson (Program Director) for being such a huge supporter! Bill is no longer a Texas resident but obviously misses his Texas Music…

 Here is a TMC status update as to what we are currently working on:

 Best of TMC 1997-2007 is now complete and available online

“Class of 87” Cheatham Street Warehouse Part 1 - is awaiting a few final mixes from Gary Hickinbotham (Instructor - Sound Recording Technology Program at Texas State University) Gary is the Chief Audio Engineer for TMC’s Season 7 shows.

Additional thanks go to Mark Erickson (Director of Texas State’s Recording Arts Program) for allowing students the time to help TMC artists get national attention on PBS!

Billy Joe Shaver Live at Cheatham Street Warehouse - is finished and in the hands of Greg Henry at Austin Universal Entertainment. The show is awaiting final approval before airplay. Watch for this show which also features a guest appearance by Kimberly Kelly.

Also in production is:

The Texas Heritage Songwriter’s Association taping of their 2009 Inductees including: Willie Nelson, Ray Benson, Michael Martin Murphy, Guy Clark, Alan Shamblin, and others… we are hoping to be able to feature this on TMC when complete.

Kimberly Kelly, Mark Ambrose, and Steve Howell at Hog Creek Icehouse.

The Too Smooth Rocumentary is finished and DVD copies have been flying off the shelf. (Click HERE for a sample).
