This show features Guy Forsyth, an American Texas blues and blues rock singer, guitarist, harmonicist, and songwriter. He has released nine albums to date. He regularly tours both in the United States and in Europe, and has opened for Ray Charles, Robert Cray, Dr. John, B.B. King, Jimmie Vaughan, and Lucinda Williams. Forsyth has  won several Austin Music Awards, including one for "best male vocalist" in 2005. Other artists featured in this show give you an idea of the diversity of Texas Music and the full flavors of Texas. This show even includes a "Spaghetti Western Style" music video of Trio Voronezh (a Russian Folk Trio) shot in the iconic Texas Town "The Grove". Tjos tomu Texas town has been virtually unchanged since its inception in 1859.

Artists: Too Smooth, Austin's Most Beloved Rock Band

Possibly Austin’s most popular Rock Band, “Too Smooth” paved the way for Austin's burgeoning rock music scene. “Too Smooth” was the “go to” band for the Armadillo World Headquarters as “the” opening act for Aerosmith, Frank Zappa, Rush and many more because “Too Smooth” could consistently pull a large local audience. “Too Smooth’s” band members have since moved on to play for Christopher Cross and Trace Adkins. This show contains interviews, and archival footage, and performances from “Too Smooth’s” 2007 reunion concert.  Find out why they can still draw a large Austin crowd.
